Bavaria and Greenline announcement

Clipper Marine are excited about the announcement of a new project from Bavaria Yachts.

As the UK distributors for both Bavaria Yachts and Greenline Yachts, Clipper Marine are delighted to see the announcement at the Düsseldorf Boat Show last week that Bavaria Yachtbau GmbH have reached an agreement with SVP Yachts of Slovenia, the owners of the Greenline brand, to buy the rights for their NEO motorboat range. This will mark the first time that Bavaria have produced an outboard driven boat and is a recognition of the growing demand for the performance and ease of maintenance of an outboard powered day cruiser. At the same time the move will allow Greenline to concentrate on their unique blend of hybrid propulsion, sustainability and environmentally responsible boating.

The deal will entail Bavaria buying all the rights, moulds and tools for the construction of the award-winning Neo. The new boat will be re-branded and it is expected that the first of the new line will be available from as early as September. The deck and interior styling will be re-worked to reflect the Bavaria design themes, and it looks likely that the new boats will be powered by twin 300hp outboards. The addition of a day cruiser will mark a significant addition to Bavaria’s power line and comes on the back of the launch of the new SR41 motorboat at Düsseldorf.

For more information about the new line, or to arrange for a test in one of the new boats, then please contact your local Clipper Marine office.

The last two remaining Greenline NEO's are still available with a high spec including solar etc etc. The future Bavaria version will not have the solar roof. These two boats are in stock in the UK available for immediate delivery.
