We’ve also adapted how we work to reflect the current situation, namely:
- For buyers who don’t want to travel to view a boat, we’ve introduced Live Video Viewings on all of our boats at all of our offices. One of our brokers will video call you from the boat and walk you through, answering any questions you may have and showing you every area of the boat. Our Live Video Viewings have already proved very popular, especially for customers living some distance away or overseas. Contact your local Clipper office to arrange your Live Video Viewing.
- For ‘face to face’ boat viewings, we’ll be keeping a sensible distance apart and will make latex gloves available for you to use while viewing the boat.
- With the current travel restrictions, it may not always be possible for you to get down to your boat to check her which can be a worry. So, for our customers who bought their boat through Clipper, or are selling their boat through Clipper and who keep their boats close to one of our office locations, we would be more than happy to pop down to your boat and check her for you – whether that’s just checking lines and fenders, or making sure that she is as she should be - we’re here to help.
We’re still experiencing strong demand for boats, both from the UK and abroad – our European customers, in particular, are finding UK boats even more affordable with the current Euro exchange rate. So if you have a boat to sell, now really is a great time to sell – contact your local Clipper office for details of our unbeatable commission rates.
