Clipper Marine are delighted to announce the launch of the two newest boats to join the Bavaria fleet.

The Dusseldorf Boat Show 2020 will mark the world premier for the two latest additions to the power and sail lines.

The Bavaria SR41 is the first in a new range of motor boats that will combine the design features of the current S and R lines into a boat that offers a blend of the comfort and sporting performance from both.

Available in hardtop, soft top and coupe the first thing that will catch your eye is the striking stern facing sun pad and table. Combined with the electric bathing platform you have the option of waterside dining, a full-sized sun pad, or bench seating. With no steps or doors to the sea you and your guests will have unrestricted access to the water when the time comes for a dip.

Down below there’s a full beam owner’s stateroom with class leading space for a boat of this size, as well as a dedicated en-suite bathroom. Hull ports bring in plenty of natural light along with views over the water. The lucky guests are well taken care of with a generous VIP cabin in the bows and a bathroom which doubles up as a day head.

The standard engine fit is twin Mercruiser 355 petrol engines, with the option of an upgrade to Volvo Penta D-6 380 diesels. Thanks to the design team of Marco Casali and the proven build expertise of Bavaria the new SR41 will undoubtedly prove to be another big seller in the Bavaria power range.

New to the enormously successful C line is the C42. Continuing the collaboration with Cossutti Yacht Design the C42 shares many of the styling cues from her bigger siblings, with the bold angular lines that have become the hallmark of these boats. A first for Bavaria though is the introduction of full-length chines which, when coupled with a new fuller bow design and a full width beam carried right aft, means that she has bags of space down below. This, along with the three sets of hull ports, ensure that the new boat feels bright and airy in all the cabins. A number of layouts are available, with options of two or three cabins, and one or two heads in all the combinations.

Performance under sail was a key part of the design brief and the new chines will help with stability once the yacht is heeled. The fuller bow sections will also help reduce pitching when the boat is driven off the wind, especially when combined with the optional code zero or gennaker. Ease of sail handling will be helped by the addition of a self-tacking jib as standard.

All in all the new C42 is a great looking boat and we can’t wait for our first chance to play with her on the water.

For information on these or any of the boats in the range please contact your local office and we’ll be delighted to help. If you plan to join us at Dusseldorf let us know and we’ll arrange a guided tour on any of the boats that are of interest.
