Bavaria Easy 9.7 Yacht - Clipper Marine

BAVARIA EASY 9.7 is focused only on the essentials. It is up to each owner to decide if she will be a day sailor, weekender, cruising yacht or racing yacht – because she can be all of these. Her open stern, spacious cockpit and functional and elegant interior makes it clear what sailing is all about – fun!The uncluttered deck layout makes the BAVARIA EASY 9.7 safe and efficient to be handled under sail by a crew of one or two. The genoa winches can be reached by the helmsman with a handle, making manoeuvring a breeze. That’s why I’m easy!

Isophthalic acid (IPA) resins in the outer layers, used during the laminating process, ensure that the hull of a BAVARIA EASY 9.7 is of the highest quality. They offer effective protection against osmosis and thus promote longevity for the BAVARIA EASY 9.7. The hull and deck of the BAVARIA EASY 9.7 is formed by sandwich construction with foam inserts. Where fittings are mounted, the deck is reinforced with aluminium sheets. In the so-called "wedding" shortly before the end of the production process, the deck and hull are screwed and glued together for extreme stability and high durability.

Loft Feeling

Below deck you have a sense of space akin to that of a 37-foot yacht. Open and bright, the saloon is designed as a loft, with no bulkhead door restricting the view. Even in the basic version, large berths in the stern and bow, a café table in the saloon, a small galley counter for delicious snacks in between and an easy-care bathroom ensure that you will want for nothing, no matter the length of your cruise.

The Easy-Living Package includes additional practical features. The cockpit also has a shower in addition to the cockpit table. Doors to the cabins, a stove for the galley, a refrigerator, a waste-holding tank, shore power and a hot shower in the bathroom complete the Easy-Living Package.

Sailing performance

A BAVARIA EASY 9.7 has an agile and athletic sailing performance – the designers of Farr Yacht Design and the development team spent a great deal of time to ensure this. The 106 percent large head sail is sheeted closely on the deck structure, with the result that a BAVARIA EASY 9.7 sails higher on the wind than other yachts. Including the mainsail, there are 51 square metres of sail area, which gives the BAVARIA EASY 9.7 an enormous speed potential even in light winds.
