Top-Highlights on the BAVARIA c50

  • Easy handling.

The BAVARIA C50 is very easy to sail. This is helped by two winches on port and starboard, which can be controlled easily from the helmstand in all conditions. The deck layout is generally designed for fast, very relaxed sailing.

  • Digital Switching

All of the equipment on board the new BAVARIA C50 is state of the art. Now you can monitor and control everything with consummate ease: navigation lights, music, heating, anchor winch – even tank levels. From anywhere: from the plotter, or even from your smartphone when you’re on the move.

  • Up to six cabins.

A range of layouts as they should be and as you would wish as a potential owner – from classic three-cabin version, to five-cabin version. Even a sixth cabin is possible as a skipper’s cabin in the bow. This is entirely unique on a sailing yacht measuring 15.55 metres.

  • Wet Bar with BBQ Grill

Grilling and chilling in the cockpit area? Just do it. There’s a lowerable barbecue and a fold‐up wet bar including fridge.

  • XXL bathing platform

2.68 metres of width for everything that’s fun right next to the water: sunbathing together, swimming, diving – there’s space for it all.

  • Dual wheel steering

Keep an eye on the sails and the course. And on lots of other things on board, such as tank levels, using the touch displays.

The pleasure of sailing always in mind.

Nothing should get in the way of the pleasure of sailing. That’s why both helmstands give you a perfect view of the sails and the route ahead. Everything is always in sight – including the instruments, which are extremely easy to operate. Even turning is easy, thanks to a self-tacking jib.

The BAVARIA C50 also has a good potential for speed. The performance rig is pure joy, even for ambitious sailors, and it makes the yacht fast and safe in any weather.

    Perfection not only in design.

The BAVARIA C50 is a joint project by BAVARIA YACHTS and Cossutti Yacht Design – almost legendary when it comes to fast and elegant yachts. Their expertise is a guarantee of exceptional sailing performance and safe, balanced handling.

BAVARIA YACHTS’ special VacuTec construction system contributes to the performance. It makes the hull more stable but also lighter. A high but balanced sail area / displacement ratio also promises outstanding sailing performance coupled with extremely straightforward, safe handling.

VPP sail performance at 12 kn true wind speed; 103% Jib and Gennaker; deep keel 2.30 m.

The new wow in this class.

Our aim was to make the BAVARIA C50 nothing less than a new benchmark in the 50‐foot yacht category. We’re sure we succeeded with its elegant, flat hull line and stunningly dynamic silhouette.

The walk‐on deck is free of edges and steps, the hatches recessed into the deck provide optimum lighting and ventilation. Everything is clear and minimalist, reflecting our understanding of good, modern yacht design.

    • Superyacht character in a 50‐foot package
    • Elegant and dynamic design
    • Choose from three equipment versions
    • Loads of stylish details

Renowned yacht designer Maurizio Cossutti and his team have done some outstanding work

They created a masterpiece in the BAVARIA C50, with its elongated hull three big windows, the long window strip and the special cockpit design, divided discreetly into sailing and relaxation areas so you can enjoy both aspects in full.

There are three versions to choose from:

    • "Holiday" Version

As its name suggest, it means your holiday can begin. Everything you need is on board – anchor winches, navigation instruments – and everything else besides. You can also enjoy the highest degree of seaworthiness that a sailing yacht can offer.

    • "Style" Version

The BAVARIA C50 STYLE is the perfect choice for demanding owners. It offers more features and more design elements – such as selected woods and upholstery for maximum style and personalisation. The grey decorative strip along the hull turns heads too.

    • "Ambition" Version

This version features lots of performance details. For example, the optional black bowsprit into which the anchor is integrated. The gennaker is fastened there, giving the yacht a higher final speed because the incident flow is optimised. Performance is also emphasised by an optional black mast and boom and steering wheels in a modern carbon look.

Exterior Highlights of the BAVARIA C50

Cast off on an unforgettable voyage. The BAVARIA C50 has lots of the things on board you need to sail straight off. And then there are the details that set it apart from other yachts in its class.

      01. Twin‐table cockpit

There are so many practical things on a BAVARIA yacht. These tables, for instance, can be lowered to transform the area into a lounge..

      02. Wet bar with bbq grill

Grilling and chilling in the cockpit area? Just do it. There’s a lowerable barbecue and a fold‐up wet bar including fridge.

      03. Sunbathing areas at the cockpit

Endless sunbathing areas. Two of them, for instance, are right next to the broad ladderway, very near the cockpit.

      04. Teak deck

Quality is something you can see – and feel. That’s why we offer optional, high‐grade teak in the cockpit and on all the walk‐on decks.

      05. Dual wheel steering

Keep an eye on the sails and the course. And on lots of other things on board, such as tank levels, using the touch displays.

      06. Self‐tacking jib

Set the rudder, turn, continue on your way. Tacking into the wind is a piece of cake thanks to the self‐tacking jib.

      07. Under‐deck furler

Guarantees easy handling and good design: self‐tacking jib and genoa are stowed below deck on a rolling system.

      08. Pre‐balanced rudder blade

For balanced, agile manoeuvring under sail – thanks to a self‐aligning bearing. Tested repeatedly in a flow channel.

      09. Extra sunbathing areas

If you don’t feel like withdrawing to the cockpit area to relax, then there’s also space at the bow and beneath the boom.

      10. XXL bathing platform

2.68 metres of width for everything that’s fun right next to the water: sunbathing together, swimming, diving – there’s space for it all.

      11. Dinghy garage

Watersports equipment needs space. This garage can accommodate almost anything you might need for an unforgettable outing.

      12. Flush hatches in the deck

The way hatches are arranged also has to be perfect. We’ve recessed all of our flush hatches into the deck. To us, it’s a question of design – and quality.

      13. Stylish light strip

This is strip‐lighting of the superior kind: windows that extend practically all the way round the saloon, filling it with lots of natural light.

      14. Hull windows

Embedded into the elegant, flat lines of the hull are fabulously large windows that provide more light below deck.

      15.Vacutec hull

A hull‐building method that is all benefit, making the hull lighter yet stronger. This is BAVARIA YACHTS engineering par excellence.

      Everything but ordinary.

A touch of superyacht, even below deck. Everything feels enormous. For example, sit on the big lounge sofa at the saloon table, surrounded by lots of natural light streaming in through the stylish light-strip. In the evening, an intelligent LED lighting concept creates a pleasant atmosphere. For instance: when dinner is being prepared in the extra-large pantry and you look up at the starry sky through the big deck hatches. The BAVARIA C50 – a star in so many ways.

      • Huge saloon with luxurious lounge seating
      • Numerous deck hatches provide lots of natural light
      • A remarkable 75.70 sqm of living space
      • Produced in a special modular system

Walnut Edition: elegance wherever you look.

This is like sitting in the lounge of a top city hotel. The warm wood tones and sophisticated LED lighting are what does it. Everything’s so stylish and tasteful.

Pure luxury: the owner’s cabin. Including a view of the water and the sky.

Queen-sized bed, available in two positions: starboard or centrally amidships.

A separate shower cabin – another sign of luxury.

The saloon has space for everything and everyone, from the morning until late in the evening.

      Or bright and friendly?

Tastes differ. It’s good to have the choice. White oak is for those who like things clear and open. The material’s brushed texture enhances its pleasantly natural feel.

Bright delight, luxury haven: the owner’s cabin.

Space even for ambitious cooks and their helpers.

Control centre with map table and navigation equipment.

The bathroom is luxurious too, with a separate shower cabin.

      Or perhaps a distinctive brown?

Mahogany is an especially fine, high-quality tropical wood. It’s especially popular for luxurious furniture. No wonder: it looks stunning and enhances any room.

Space for everything and everyone: the BAVARIA c50’s generous saloon.

The owner’s cabin offers lots of light and a cosy atmosphere.

A high-quality bathroom with lots of space to look after yourself.

Even the aft cabin is not without its luxuries.

Now you can even navigate through your own yacht.

We’re all familiar with smart home technology for houses. BAVARIA YACHTS has now made its boats smart, allowing almost the entire yacht to be operated from your plotter – or your tablet or smartphone.

Standing at the rudder, controlling the lights in the foreship cabin? Yes, you can. Switching navigating lights on and off? Also. Controlling music, heating, refrigerator or anchor winch? Not a problem. View the level of your tanks? Check. A data network makes all this possible. And of course, the plotter can navigate you and display nautical data as usual. Smart, don’t you think?

A remote control – for yachts

The experts at Navico have teamed up with Naviop to develop user interfaces for the plotter and switch boxes. This allows electrical and electronic components to communicate with one another. It’s new and it makes everything much, much easier.

And safer too, because you can keep an eye on all the important things digitally: full information about the yacht, including system diagnostics to tell you that everything is working correctly. Are the tanks full enough? Are the batteries charged? In an emergency, you can even get help from the 24/7 help desk, or an expert can connect up via ‘Remote Support’. All of this is controlled using a very simple user interface.

Keeping an eye on everything: are the right navigating lights on? How’s the battery? What’s the sonar saying? And much more.

Tank levels displayed with perfect clarity.

Battery levels and other consumer points can be checked and displayed to ensure that everything keeps working.

You can keep an eye on all the systems and data at all times, even from your home, hundreds of miles away.

Because the best is just right.

Quality always makes the difference. Why? Because you can simply tell when materials are special. You can feel it and you can see it. Solid wooden trim, for instance. It’s the love of detail that makes a yacht what it is – and, where it matters, hand craftsmanship. At BAVARIA YACHTS, the entire interior is made in Germany. Every single wooden component is varnished up to six times. This is a level of quality you simply can’t replace.

But it isn’t just us at BAVARIA YACHTS who are striving for the best result. Every stage of the creation of our yachts involves reliable, big-name partners, each of them market leaders in their field. They too help ensure that the quality is up to the mark – for the best of times at sea.

Bavaria Vacutec – used in these yachts too.

Like all BAVARIA YACHTS, the Bavaria c50 and C50 are made using a special, innovative process: vacuum infusion technology, which we call BAVARIA VacuTec. This results in a stronger but lighter boat.

      1. Mould tool
      2. Gelcoat and GRP laminate
      3. Peel ply
      4. Permeable film
      5. Resin flow mesh
      1. Vacuum bagging film
      2. Vacuum control valve
      3. Resin flow channel
      4. Sealing tape

      The how makes the wow.

      The interior

Each room is given its own atmosphere by the way the interior is built. That’s why there are three types of wood to choose from: from dark (mahogany, walnut) to pale (white oak). All of the furnishings in the cabins and saloon are manufactured in modules, separately from the hull. The same goes for all the installations, the laying of cables and lines. At the end, each module is checked carefully to see that it works correctly, and only then installed.

      The leather

Leather is one of the most beautiful and exclusive natural products. It’s tough and resilient on the one hand, but gives a wonderful feeling of comfort on the other. When you touch it, you can simply feel the exclusivity, and on the BAVARIA c50 and C50 it’s always carefully matched to the interior.

      The floor

Floors on yachts have to put up with a lot. Water, heat, knocks. That’s why they have to be extraordinarily tough. We only use materials that can withstand every step, every kind of pressure and every weather. And we install them in a functional design and at the top quality level.

Thrilling variety – the Bavaria C50 layouts.

There really are an enormous number of layouts to choose from in the BAVARIA C50. From classic three-cabin to five-cabin version, everything is possible – and you can even have a skipper’s cabin in the bow. Compromises? Not with this yacht.

Whatever the layout, you’ll get a brightly lit saloon with lots of space for wonderful dinners with guests, and then for relaxing on the luxurious sofa.
