Owner's Comments

We bought the boat new in 2000 and kept her in Poole throughout her life. We have cruised the Normandy and Brittany coasts, the Channel Islands and the UK South Coast from Falmouth to the West and Chichester to the East.

We have striven to keep the boat in first class condition with a continual regime of cleaning, polishing and technical maintenance. Everything on board works.

After 19 years, we will be sorry to see her go, but we have reluctantly persuaded ourselves to buy a newer boat - another Princess!

Broker's Comments

The Princess V42 is one of those boats that is "right". She does everything so very well. I have plenty of personal experience with these craft and fallen in love with them. There are many reasons for this - she is a beautiful boat that will remain beautiful, even with changing tastes over the years, the sea keeping is extremely comfortable and assured, even in less than ideal conditions, On a more practical level, the V42 is hard to beat, she has easy to access and wide side decks forward, there is loads of storage both inside and out, the accommodation is so very comfortable (I have been lucky enough to spend many nights in the aft cabin on one of these) and a galley where you can prepare proper meals if you are so inclined.

"Canazei" is an outstanding example of her class, she feels and looks virtually new. This is no accident, the owners are forever here at the marina looking after and enjoying their boat. She is a credit to them, and her future owners will reap the benefit of those years of loving maintenance.
