1988 Gib'Sea 282 - £14,995 (Tax Paid)

To find a sailing cruiser under 30 feet, that offers three separate sleeping cabins with an abundance of headroom, is a rare thing indeed. The Gibsea 282 gives you just that! This well equipped example features an up to date WiFi chartplotter, DSC VHF, autopilot and much more. The standing rigging was replaced in 2017. The downstairs accommodation is very smart and tidy, the cushions were all re-upholstered in the recent past and she generally looks younger than her date of manufacture suggests. At £14,995, she is a fantastic family cruising yacht. For further information, or to arrange a viewing, please just call Peter on 01202 916424 or email

Owner's Comments

We bought the boat in June 2017 with a view to see if my young family would enjoy sailing. They have loved it and encouraged me to get a larger boat, hence the reason for sale. I chose "Tangaroa" as she was one of the very few boats that suited our accommodation needs (I am over 6' in height and have 3 x daughters). The separate forward and aft cabins are just so hard to find in yachts of this size range.

We have had an amazing time with "Tangaroa", mainly sailing around the local waters of Poole Harbour but also to Devon and the Channel Islands. She sails very well and I have been more than confident in her ability to keep the family safe, comfortable and happy.
