In addition to the world premiere of the new Cruiser 50 on the first Saturday of the boat show ´boot´ in Düsseldorf, Bavaria will present the Sport-version of its Cruiser 40 on Sunday, 23rd January 2011.
The high-performance hull, designed by Farr Yacht Design, combined with the Sport-Option makes the Cruiser a true racer for sporty ambitious sailors, who do not like to miss comfort and space.
The principal concept of the CRUISER 40 was optimized in terms of weight to ensure an improved performance. This was achieved through optimization of the interior and application of weight-saving building materials.
Alongside a longer, narrower Seldén mast and race boom and the new performance keel, the 40S is, amongst others, equipped with the following features:
· Cockpit-Traveller – German Mainsheet System
· Twin Spinnaker-Sheet
· Performance deck fittings by Seldén
· Carbon-Spinnaker boom
· Composit steering wheels with Y-crossings
· Lewmar “Mamba” steering system
· Lewmar “EVO” winches
· TackTick® Micronet Race Electronic with Maxi Displays on mast, tactical multifunctional-hand set (Solar operated, wireless)
· Hydraulical backstay adjuster
The new Cruiser 40S will be launched in grand scale. The team around Match Race Germany as well as regatta sailing star Markus Wieser will not miss the spectacle, when Bavaria will hand over the rudder of the new sailing yacht.
Following the world premiere, there will be an autograph session as well as a stand party with traditional Bavaria food and drinks. Come and visit us on our sailing yacht stand 16 B 38 on Sunday, 23rd January from 14:00 o´clock. We look forward to welcoming you. For more information, please visit www.bavaria-yachtbau.com.
