A yacht is usually measured in feet or metres but the length of the hull does not give you any idea of the space onboard the new Azimut 53. Unique in its category, it has a master suite that is full height as well as full beam where the yacht owner can experience the heart of the yacht to the full thanks to the careful attention to detail as seen in the cabinet fridge and the chromotherapy, for example. The main deck is not only long but wide, high and luminous, designed as one large space divided into functional areas with a living area with an elegant cabinet along the starboard side in pickled oak full of compartments, drawers and spaces that are essential for comfortable onboard living and a sofa with two armchairs on the opposite side that form a highly elegant and prestigious area for relaxation and conversation.
Comfort also features in the dining area with a fixed sofa and a fabric and leather bench placed behind the wheelhouse which has a back that slides backwards and forwards by way of electric servomechanisms so that it can be used in both areas.
The air conditioning system guarantees an ideal temperature everywhere and the ventilation ducts are perfectly concealed and integrated into the furnishings.
There is no doubt that a great yacht must have a great flybridge. Azimut 53 has such a wide flybridge that there is room for two sun bathing areas that are linked but independent of each other, one towards the stern and the other towards the bow. Such a large relaxation area has been made possible by the special extra flat helm station that allows the sofa to extend behind the controls.
